Why we built the Soothe Belt
We started Soothe because the standard cramp toolkit hasn't changed in fifty years.A hot water bottle that pins you to the couch. Painkillers that work an hour later, if at all. A heating pad that needs to be plugged in next to a wall socket. None of it follows you out the door.So we built something that does.
What it actually is
The Soothe Belt is a wearable cramp relief device that uses two things shown to ease menstrual pain: **targeted heat** and **low-frequency vibration**. It runs on a rechargeable battery for up to 4 hours, wraps slim under your clothes, and gets to work in about 60 seconds. It is not a medical device. We don't claim to treat endometriosis, PCOS, fibroids, or anything else. What we built is a wellness tool — one that handles symptomatic relief well enough that you can keep your day moving.
What we tested before launch
Before sourcing the production run, we tested three different cramp belt designs against three things:1. **Heat consistency** — does it stay warm for the full 4 hours, or does it cool off after 20 minutes?2. **Vibration variety** — most belts have one mode. We picked the one with four because cramp pain isn't one feeling.3. **Battery + cordless usability** — could you wear it on a train? Under a hoodie? While walking the dog? If the answer was no, it didn't make the shortlist. The Soothe Belt was the one that came out the other side.
Who we are
Soothe is a small operation based in Ireland. One founder, a small fulfilment partner, and a customer support inbox that's actually answered by a human — usually within a few hours, always within a business day.We aren't venture-backed. We aren't a beauty conglomerate. We're a single product, sold honestly, to people who want their cycle to stop deciding their schedule.
What "early access" means
If you're seeing this page in 2026, you're catching us right at launch. That's why pricing is lower than it'll be in a few months, and why we don't have hundreds of reviews stacked up yet. The first wave of customers gets the better deal and helps shape what we build next.If the belt doesn't earn its place in your bag, you have **30 days to send it back, no questions asked**. We'd rather you tell us why it didn't work than keep your money..
What's next
Once the first wave is out the door, we're working on:- A travel pouch (sold separately, requested by early customers)- A version with adjustable straps for different body shapes- Educational content on cycle health — written by actual gynaecologists, not us
If you've got feedback, an idea, or a complaint — **hello@soothe.shop**. We read all of it.— The Soothe team
